Hi Loverz!

Welcome to my first post of 2018! AH! I FEEL like this year is going to be the best one yet... Call it a hunch, or just an educated guess... or simply speaking it into existence because when it really comes down to it, each year is really what WE MAKE IT! This year I know better, I am reaching for more and I am more resilient than I have ever been before. That's my intention and I'm putting my faith in that, and as always, hard work and love too. 

We can't deny the thing most of us set our intentions on in January though!! YES. HEALTH AND FITNESS! You all know I'm passionate about eating clean and staying fit BUT I firmly believe that being fit is more than a physical act, it's a mental and spiritual one too! Eating healthy after the holidays isn't always fun, but it feels good and that's the part to focus on. Not what you're missing but what goodness you are fueling you're body with.  For me, Salad is a go to. I can make it a million different ways and get it anywhere when I'm eating out. 

Today, I'm sharing my GO-TO, put on anything (seriously even pour it over a chicken and bake it) and practically drink it straight from the bowl, Balsamic Dijon dressing! Credit goes to Woo for this recipe <3  


The one secret is to whisk the first 4 ingredients together first and gradually mix the oil in or else it doesn't come together and emulsify as well. I usually eyeball and taste this recipe as I go because sometimes I want more of one ingredient than another. So, feel free to adjust to your taste.

I do this dressing on so many different salads, spinach, romain, arugula, kale- You name it! but in this recipe I did:

Greens, carrots,&nbsp;tomato,&nbsp;mushrooms, bell peppers, cucumber and garbanzo beans. But again, Do anything you like! Beans have protein and fiber and that helps keep you full longer.&nbsp;

YEILD: 3/4 cup


  1. 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  2. 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  3. 1tablespoon Dijon mustard
  4. 2 garlic cloves, minced 
  5. 1 tsp honey 
  6. 1/2 cup olive oil
  7. Salt & Pepper to taste


Whisk first 5 ingredients in medium bowl to blend. Gradually whisk in oil. Season dressing to taste with salt and pepper. (Can be prepared 8 hours ahead. Cover and chill. Let stand at room temperature 15 minutes; rewhisk before using.)
