I'm Inviting you into my house today to make some fall flower arrangements with me! It's simple and so good for the soul. You have probably seen me make flower arrangements before or even just seen the finished bouquets in the background of my photos and videos, to say the least... I'm obsessed. Not only do I love to have them around the house, but I love the putting them together part just as much. It's fun and relaxing to do on a weekend or even after a long day. It gets you out of your head and into the moment! It makes me appreciate the beautiful things on his earth, not to mention they’re just nice to look at all week long!
So... Here we go! Grab a vase, buy or pick (not from your neighbor tho... you’ll get in trouble trust me ) flowers you love and have some fun putting them together. I usually buy 3 bouquets and then some bunches of individual flowers I want that week. Just pick a color scheme and let your creative vibes flow. I want to see your arrangements so make sure you tag me in your creations with #allthethings !
First, I lay out all the flowers and separate them by type or color. In all honesty... this could be my OCD... but it also helps give me a visual of what I have and how I want to create.
Next I usually grab a few of my favorites that I want at the top and center, then keep adding more around them until I like the look and fullness.
Then I add them to the vase and continue adding or moving them around until I have a good mix of flowers from all sides. I like to cut some of the flowers shorter to fill the lower spaces closer to the vase. There is no recipe just a process and a laid back one at that! There is definitely no right or wrong, just color fun.
I mean come on! Don't these flowers just make you smile?! Ugh yellow roses... so so beautiful!
And...done! Here’s what I say... Don't ever wait for flowers, make your own because your a boss, a Queen and you can.
I hope you had fun with this blog and it gives you a little inspiration for some color in your life! I seriously can’t wait to see your arrangements!
